Fasting ? Yea it does sound a bit meaningless. It is a very simple concept. All the body systems need a rest once in a while and the digestive system is almost never “asleep” If you hold from eating and drinking for 24-48 hours, it gives time for rest and healing and by not drinking even water you starve the body a little bit so the sick cells and the ailing factors in the body die. In some way this may help build character since the only real chalange we have in life is getting to know ourwselves and dealing with what we find. The concept was brought to my attention by the Systema guide book by VV.

And another thing, if you are exercising and want to make sure you aren’t holding your breath you can simply count out loud the repetitions. It is simple but it works.
