Another note on hitting: Stand in front of your friend and keep a distance that suits you for starting. Raise your arm while you keep the shoulder down and all the muscles relaxed. Now let it fall keeping the forearm and wrist aligned INTO your friend. Breath naturally and attach nothing to the movement. Use your structure as in skeletal and ligement alignment to your benefit. breath and be aware of your and your friend’s tention and movement. Let the fist find it’s place and lead it from the elbow as one part. There should be not backlash from the strike as you make contact if you are relaxed and calm. Otherwise you are hitting yourself. Now this has been experimented try to add to this. Do not lean or give away your weight and balance as you strike (or any other time unless you mean to) start the movement in the hips. Rise the wave through to the solar plexus and lead it with no ressitance through your fist to your friend. If you are hit than you can use the same idea to move the power to your fists or away from you. The direction and intention carry less weight than your own free movement and lack of attachment to the strike. Consider feeling not sorry for yourself.
