Here are a few drills for good movement close to the ground:
Put a bottle on the ground or anything you wish and walk toward it. pick it up without changing pace or direction and repeat. You may want to roll and pick it up, turn crouch and pick it up, Walk backwards and pick it up and so on.
Lie on your belly or back and raise yourself with your limbs a fraction off the ground. Relax and keep your posture. Now, breath and move a “step” and lay down. Repeat and see how this works for you. Later on put a blanket on the ground and try to move under it with the least amount of disturbance to the cloth. Think how this relates to moving with others on the ground and the placement that takes the least amount of effort from you.
