A very simple drill that will help you relax when working with tension and let’s face it, your own tension. Tense up the body in different forms. On the ground, hands before you and at the sides and back, head bent and so on and as you relax and breath move in a wave like motion in two or more directions at once and at least with two limbs or parts but in directions you were not tensing against. For example brace yourself as you lean on your fists on a wall and relax while shifting your hips up and your elbows down. It will lok clowny but do so with a partner as he grabs you with intent and you follow suit in a direction he does not have tension reference to and he will follow. Remember not to run away or move out of your own rythem. It will break the card house. (special thanks to Paul Genge who’s DVD gave me this idea)
