Doors. Most of us “encounter” this contraption in many form throughout the day. Each time we go through a sliding door, a regular hinged door, a revolving door and even an electric eye door we get a chance to learn about ourselves. As you go for the handle check if you are standing in a comfortble distance and not in the way of the door and not far so you have to lean and break your own form to reach it. Are you tensing the arm on the handle or do you apply the least amount or tension needed to get the job done. Are your feet brecing on the floor as you lean against ot or do you move freely with your core and limbs so you move with the door (For example you are in front of a regular door whic his heavy. To open it without leaning your mass to it, try to stand so your regular stepapplies the needed movement and position your arm so you do not need to tense it to keep form (for example if the elbow is on the body than the lever is by the core depending on how you do it))
Today I had little time to practice in the morning so during my walk from a course to my job I did a ladder of breaths and in itself it is a good practice (about 1 hour of fast walking + bag) Start by breathing and let it show you your true rythem. One step inhale and the next exhale. Once a stage becomes comfortble you can move forward with the count and play as you wish (I chose to leave the pause to the natural minimum because on natural conditions and the nature of the work, keep your breathing according to what you are working on) If you become uneasy just go back or do a brief fast inhale exhale to recover your calm. Make sure to inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth and enjoy your walk or run. Look around and let nature relax you. This is not some sort of magic. We are built to relax in nature and if you allow it to work than you will reap the benefits.
