A simple drill to learn to move without attachement to the point you are pushing. Place your hand on your partner and raise one leg so it rest on the fingers (flex in ballet) and now swiftly lower the foot down and use that movement to push your ppartner without connecting the direction (vector) to a logical and harmfull to you vector in the opposite direction. If you do this now agains a wall, you will prabably turn on the spot which is very adaptive to bodyguard work if you have to maintain your placing as a set piece.
