One of the best ways to hit and be hit is to actually do it. First do so on yourself as you move without stop to hit slap punch and strike any part with any part softly. Now advance to do so on a partner taking care to have a calm mind as you do so and they will feel the difference and give you guidence. Next repeat the process as your partner is walking as he wishes and you take care to remain free from leaning on him or addressing him as a point of support. Follow up to a light jog pace and go back to walking pace as he now pushes you away and stirkes back if your strike gave him the will or inclination (someone hits you in the left shoulder and you rotate with the push to return the energy) . Your job if you choose to accept it is to avoid being hit or tangles in the first place and finish the conflict if possible.
