Setting roots: Many times a day we position ourselves in a way that  pacilitates stress. Watching the news on the television as we are sitting leaning forward and our neck warped or eating too much in one mean and carrying that load around all day sweating and bloated. Taking care of ourselves is not just slow push ups in class. Awareness is a gift which gives each time you use it. You place your leg in the shower and your leg tells you if it is slippery and you choose what to do to what you want done. Your relaxed eyes can see more than  just ahead if you let them. The shadows if the light or sun is behind you will tell you who is behind you and where for example. 

As a personal task, notice how you sit. Is the distance between you and your tool (TV PC and so on) just right in hight and horizontal distance ? Are you sitting with you back and neck alighned and upright or do you tense up one system of muscles and tendons to support an unnatural form ? Is the light good for your eyes ? and so on. Awareness feels like a drag sometimes when you stop and feel like opening a door is a very complex task with ALL the things that come into play but it is a way to self mastery as an artist and a person.
