One very nice way to use “invisibe hits” is to step away from an approach just enough but leave the leg or arm behind and so the person you work with. Do so with the thought to end the fight but don’t put too much in it because you may need to do more. Another way to throw this idea is to roll as people approach but roll into the step. It is mch easier to keep moving than to start and easier to move someone as his balance shifts. Try to sit on your behind and get up fast. You have to first shift the weight. If you keep moving on the ground you will be able to do the work and live. Stop breathing and you will end your life yourself. The basic principles are there to help. If you consider them a constraint than that will be the effect. Use them as air and it will fill you with power and life. One last drill for now. Work in a corridor as one person works to keep several on one end and one on the other end with a stick to remind the dancer there are spectators. 🙂
