A nice bit about hitting and taking hits. Try this in a group of three and stand in a row two facing each other and one behind the other. Start by hitting each other a few times and than have the back guy hit the person in front of him with the intent on the power moving into him so he can hit the guy in front of him with that combined force. It sounds strange but it works even if you are the person doing the combined hitting and you don’t believe. Hoever like many other things if you cannot generate the intent in a clean emotionless way it will not work. Another drill to enhance your hits would be t osimply place your fists on a person and going around him finding the correct DISTANCE so you can hit with a relaxed arm. Advance to placement while he walks here and there (not as easy as it sounds if you do it right) and go on to hits as you gain relaxation and can think about more than one thing at once. If you want help to relax just start to describe what you see around as you go. This is doubly good to keep you aware of what is happening that may or may not concern you. Once this is done, go to hitting while you also have to avoid slow hits from the one or more you work with. Work on the same level. otherwise you cheach only yourself and the people who work with you will know you have no confidence in the movement. It is hard or even impossible to desguise you real intent even if many people choose to ignore their feeling. Know how you feel and it will have much less unknown influence on you.
