Learning the value of breath and whole body movement is easy to show. Start by hopping on one leg and holding your breath with a limp body. Advance to hopping along your breath and you may find that it actually lifts you up. From that go to hopping with an upright posture and see how the mass is manutally working for you and than as the spine is limber start to hop Using the body as a spring creating a wave. To illustrate this start imitating the action of the locomotive bar that moves the wheels. An elipse drawn by a line moving along the shape of it. Do that with your hands one after the other and add your leg to the party. alternate and enjoy the potential of your body. If things get heated or too exited in class simply do 10 push ups squats and legs lifts overhead (or 50) and things will move nicely after. Remember to do things right and don’t rush.
