Learning to use the bounce in your walk can save you a lot of money on gatoraid. (and by that I mean less effort) try this. Use a step or a stool or something else with some hight that starts with S and step on it. (say “aaaaa”) and step off with one leg and use the elastic energy as you exhale to bring your mass back on the stool slide step or sink. The audio helps your awareness in recognising when to allow the exhale. (the fall breaths for you so less energy is used) and if you let the chain of  toes, ankle knee and hip work like a train slide than you will be able to do that in the down up and horizontal planes. This is also a good way of running as you let the mass slide from heel to toe and all the way to the hips who use this moment to draw three dimentional eights in the air. It start with breath and expands to the whole body. The upper body has to be upright and loose of course to allow this glide. Otherwise you will hurt your legs and spine and a soldier and a father need good legs and back and a long breath. All else comes from that base.
