A bit on taking hits to the head. Most times we hit another person we hit just enough to move or tilt the head on the axis but no additional movement is needed. consider adding from time to time hits that end further behind or inside the head (add a step or something so you don’t overreach) and enjoy the change. The simplest way to move here is to pass the chain of tension when one lever (neck) has reached it’s end it transfers to the next link in the chain but be carefull not to break form by twisting the torso since it will inhibit your breath and movement and most likely the next hit will drop you. Try to keep the head aligned with the upper body and relax the hips and legs so you continue the rotation or movement by a step back or simply turning horizontally on the hips plane left and right. Another way would be to ride the hit by way of looping the neck and head around the moving arm or stick and approaching the hitter within this movement. Practice with care and remember the golden rule. Glasses are fragile 🙂
