Move as one: Most of the time we (me too) move as rag dolls with one limb doing one thing and the head something else. It can be useful and moving as one can also be usefull. You have to decide for yourself how and when each comes naturally. Start by standing evenly and hit forward with one hand. Do so slowly and following your breath. At the end of the hit do not pull back but move forward with the other hand. Keep your legs from crossing and your torso from twisting. The test for this is simple enough. Freeze from time to time and feel if there is any discomfort or shift in the balance over ten breath cycles. Next do so with the legs. Each hitting in turn and no imbalance or twisting tilting or the torso are allowed. use the freeze test (TM) to test your honesty. Another thing you have to do is to put trust in your movement. In a crowd of people if you are a leaf than you fly and trample or sour. A tall grass will bend but will rise again from it’s roots unlike a floating leaf. (sorry for the “zen” lesson I must be low on sugarInnocent)  Two more things to note: Keep your arms heavy and your shoulders low and pressed for this drill. Do not hold your breath for more than what is comfortable. There is time for that too but not now.

For Philipp:  do this drill minding the flow of the wave from the hips to the solar plexus to the shoulder to the forearm (the forearm is one unit) also as you kick slowly do not initiate from the heel. the lower trunk starts the leg hit in the same way we stalk the pray whipping our feet loosly in the growth.
