to better learn the whip movement, lie on your back and start to roll belly to back. Let the arms move freely as a result of the body movement and lessen the rolls till you can freely whip the arms about with direction using only tilting and rocking. Notice how the arms move freely and keep safe from banging the bones on the hard ground. Remember hard on Soft and Soft on Hard.

Another thing you can do to better your rolling is to stand and drop forward. Let the air out as you relax the torso so that it falls on the thighs and roll from there. It will give you a notion of how to relax on the way down so you can match the ground with your body and mind. and smile

  1. Hi Sharon, once again another question.I am not clear what you mean by Belly to back – do you mean roll sideways or fold my body backwards like doing a backward roll?
