Two easy drills to learn movement and freedom. One stands with his front to the wall and others push him and hit him using fists and feet. At the beginning he simply goes with the power and lets it roll or guides it to the wall and later on after some familiarity with the way he is enclined to do so begin to guide the others using their direction and limbs to the wall. The goal is to learn to deal with strange situations and learn to feel the person even if you are surprised or blind sighted somehow. Keep moving and be aware of your breathing. Don’t fight with the others (best is two on one in the beginning) but guide them where they are not either aware or strong. After that repeat the drill with your back to the wall and maintain your form as you change their’s. Learn to use one against the other and keep from wanting to harm another. That focus will blind you from within from the person who wishes to harm you. Concentrate on keeping your mobility and freedom and do the least amount of harm (don’t be too nice though)
After that squat with feet flat on the floor and have a all on all take down game. The goal is to stay on the same level and either standing up or landing on your rear is a change of form. use everything you can from moving the knees to pulling on the shirts. This is a great way to see how stable you can be and how fragile the balance is. do it with your kids too, they will love it.
