1. have a person stand with his back to the wall and you on the ground in front of him. Now climb up and down using your hands to grab what you can (gently …) a few times and than do the same with the face to the wall. Have him or her do the same to you and notice how the feel changes as you go and where there is a hint of movement as you move in.
2. Repeat drill no` 1 using your fists.
3. Repeat drill no` 1 using your feet (you are now giving him a view of your rear and don’t be lazy, do it from the front as well)
4. Have the person lie on the ground and stand on him (preferably no shoes) from the heels and walk up slowly and notice the changes in his mood and mass shifts to accommodate you.
5. Repeat drill no` 4 after the one on the ground has rolled over.
6. Repeat drill no` 4 with you as the person on the ground.
7. Have a person walk toward you. Place your fist or hand on him and load the tendons with his motion and when he reaches you, change the direction and give him back the motion. Do this many times with attention to your breath and posture. The mass distribution in your feet and the height of your shoulders. Check where it is best to place yourself and your limbs to effect the motion back to him (or her) and change roles.
8. use a standing person and place both hands on him at different spots. For example you may want to start at the back of the hip where the hip bones meet the lower back and in the shoulder area in the clavicle or where the neck meets the back. and apply some movement on those spots. Change spots and see what effect you are getting and later on try to keep one support (hint for you to see your limbs as a support object in the body and mind of your partner in terms of distance and placement in space) in place as you move another in a wanted direction. For example you may want to place one hand at the back of the neck and let the other fall from the chest down while keeping contact with the body.
9. Repeat drill no` 8 only with both of you moving or at different heights.
10. Have a person lie down on either side and roll on him without breaking contact. Notice how his breath changes when you move from one place to another and what muscles his is activating to help keep the load balanced for him.
There is a lot of material in MR and VV DVDs you can use and learn from. Look for what you want in what you have and you will find you already have it.
