This is an add on to a drill I wrote down before. First you stand at a comfortable distance minding your form and in turns hit each other. the partner will work to avoid being hit by hitting your body and avoiding your limbs at the same time. This teaches economy of movement well and is a good game as it is. Next do the same as you are walking and your partner has to follow you and hit without becoming fixated on your movement. After you have done this add this part to the movement. To move effectivaly and efficiently you have to move from where you are. This means that you repeat the drill but now add a hit with the limb you hit to stop the movement without bringing the arm or leg back. For example if you stopped a fist to your neck with a fist to his shoulder which sent the strike aside, you now move forward with the elbow to the chest as the fist remains in place to give false support to the partner and in this way it will be harder for him to notice the movement.
