Freedom in the hips: I caught a glance at myself walking low in the mirror and noticed I sway slightly from side to side as I practice the relaxed hip and bent knees walk. I tried this back and forth and it is more pronounced in the back becasue I have been taking larger steps than my relaxation facilitates and I have been compansating with this sway. To fix this I can either lower the stance thus giving more play in the legs or move the hip as the torso remains on the line (a bent over 8 inner movement). After doing a few super slow steps (one step per two minutes) My lower back relaxed some more and now I sway less. Life is a work in progress. check yourself out in the mirror and see how you walk. do you bounce or sway and find out what is making you do it.
Another thing to note is the direction of the toes and tension in the knees. They too can direct the body off course.
