Crossing your legs: consider the many steps you take each day. How many of them are twisting and tilting your body. Take a day to notice now when you pass a corner you bend or curve your body to make the turn smaller (feeling sorry for yourself) or when you change directions you put your left leg to the right and twist your body or the other way around. this can be realy small or not at all but still try to make note of it. Try for one day to walk with an upright back at all times and step using the leg that is already facing that direction (logical) Be relaxed when you lift and when you place your foot on the floor. instead of falling forward, feel if the foot has placement and than move to the foot. Does this change different things you are doing throughout the day ? Answer this question for yourself.
