Two simple drills for better hands: First when you close your fist go for it from the pointing finger and from the little finger. See what works better for you in different situations and intensions. The next drill is more moving. As you do your static push up shrug with the shoulders together and one at a time. Check how you can move the body with just the shoulder in this position and as each shoulder moves in different directions. this is a great way to streagthen and free up the shoulders.
