Sharon Friedman – Vigilance and Tranquility

Today we worked in class on knives, staff and shovel with the kids. We shot a very cute clip of knife defence with them and maybe after editing i will upload some of it. A very easy observation is to go with them to the finish every time and they learn quickly to find the open spots even if you have them in a hold and not to let go if they whine a bit. I see a remarkble change in their movement and a lot more ability to move with the entire body. Another thing is how they have their own styles with the knife. the girl is more elongated and spiral with the deflections and tends to do form waves and the boy tends to rush in and strike. have a good weekend and remember to learn from everything.
