In an hour I will finish a 48 hour fast and apart from some hunger and tiredness there are no negative effects. I feel good and light and I’ve done sets of 10 one legged squats and 10 one armed push ups throughout with no noticble decline in balance or power (much the same). A small drill to make your shoulder and arm tendons and joints healthier: Clasp your hands at the small of the back and start to rotate your shoulders in opposite directions. Relax and breath and slowly bring your hands together higher and to the sides of the back. Later on place the forearm parralel to the ground across the back and rotate your hand or fist so that it pushes the arm and shoulder away from the back on the turns.
