A bit about movement with a knife. Take a knife in the logical position in the seath or on the body somewhere safe and start to take it out and put it back in standing and align your movement with your breathing. Next start to move slowly as you continue to take the knife out and in and if you are in a group be aware where in space you are traveling. Next try to take the knife out and in without raising the shoulder or letting any other part of you show the knife and do it with a partner in turn so you can learn to do it without him niticing either. Next do this drill sitting down or on the ground and start to move between those states without letting them change your knife actions. This teaches freedom in your actions and increases your ability to function in a changing enviroment. You can also do this drill which is a lot of fun: Place the knife between your legs and roll a few times forward and backwards. Place the knife between your neck and your shoulder and repeat, in your armpits and so on and learn to move with one part imobile and the others uneffected. This is very helpful in letting people think you are firm and in one place as you move to safety.
