Consider the options you have in a state of tension. You can funnel the energy toward relaxation and awareness and you can freeze in terror and many other stations on the way. You can have the picture of a young healthy you to feed your nervous system and healing or you can focus on the pain in the now (example from Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhail Ryabko seminar in Bern 2007). Another example is the laugh or cry choice we have under pressure (getting hits or pressure or anything that is hard for you like bugs on your skin and so on) and we need to keep this in mind. If you forget you can do this than you cannot do this and constant learning gives you better knowledge about yourself. We have to guard ourselves from loosing ourselves to either side. Too much of anything will be harmful.
