Have your partner lie on his back with arms to the sides of the body. Place both fists on his body place them on the upper and lower thirds of the big muscles (forearms muscles, thigh forward and backwards and so on) and within a deep breath do a slow push up and relocate to another muscle. Repeat this for 2 minutes and than have him place the arms over the head and continue for 2 more minutes and than have him roll to the stomack and go for another 2 minutes. This gives you a way to sense the tension paths in the body and how to use them for relaxation and protection. It helps the partner to learn to receive strikes and to relax his body. If your purpose is followed than you also do a 6 minutes “static” push up which helps you align your strikes and body and move naturally. Have fun with the basics. (remember the body muscles too)
