Stand up and bring one foot up slowly so each part of the foot relaxes and breaks contact with the ground in sequence. Lower the foot down and feel how the tendons in the foot and leg load to accept this energy and let it bounce up. This takes relaxation and awareness so keep at it. Than move to bringing one leg up at a time and move so you can move each leg without changing the way you carry yourself. Now advance with each move but shift the weight only once the foot is down and the wave of the walk has passed to the hip and down to the other foot. This is an economical way to transfer the weight forward or to any direction. You have to have patience and listen to your body.
Another drill is to wash each hand seperatly. You open the water faucet and wash and dry each hand apart and see how you do it. You may learn how your body can be a part of the process even in placement in direction to a towel or anything else. Have fun with it and use this in your practice. Another example is to drive one day with only one hand on the wheel and see how you learn to place your hand and body so it works with the least amount of effort.
