Take a staff or any long tool and start to draw the numbers in the air. With your feet draw the same numbers on the floor and after a while 1-20 go for non same numbers, for examples 1-10 and 10-20. This is very humbling and if you pay attension to the paths you draw you can become much more coordinated and eficient. Another drill is to walk around a friend as he stands and than as he walks using the least amount of steps. Mind you do not twist and tense up your body unless that is what you are trying to do. A way to do a step without crossing your legs can be to first turn with the body and than take the step. Check if this fits you: For example you are in front of your friend looking forward. You turn your body a quarter to the left and than take a step with your left leg back and than turn quarter to the right and with your right leg step completly behind him. The details are not important here. This is not the way, only an example that is right for one moment for one person.
