Start walking slowly with your eyes closed. At first you can only close your eyes so you see some shadows through your eyelids and become more aware of the light effects on the body. Than have a constant sound source like a radio at some point where you do this drill so you can learn to hone in on the sound and use it as a form of radar as you move. Than add a blind on the eyes to eliminate more light and have the sound source move using a friend. After this have a partner or a friend put obstacles in your way. It can be a bag on the floor, water spilled, a chair, an arm at head hight and many other things. At first make the obstacles small and easy to get through so the body doesn’t go into trauma and gradually grow to moving obstacles and learn through your movement where the tension lies, what is your natural reaction and to overcome it if need be. Mind how you breath, how you hold your body before, during and after impact and how the body tenses up. Everyone tenses up, the idea is to be aware of it and to learn to use your natural reaction to your benefit.
