First I want to say that what I write comes from my own experience and I do it before I talk about it. Naturally since we are different, some things work better for one type and others do not. This next one is universal since it comes straight from the gene pool of our past, present and future: Stand up as you get up early in the morning when it is still quiet. Balance yourself and align your body. Breath without making more sound than posible (open mouth/closed mouth test it for yourself) Now start walking. The rythem is that of the hunter closing on the pray. One step per minute. You raise your leg from the core (sorta engage it from the hip) relaxed so even if it is cought of a srub it will simply slide on it and all the while looking ahead place it slowly on the ground testing the soil with your naked foot and only once you are sure the rest is solid transfer the mass slowly forward. Withing each second you should be able to freeze if the animal focuses on you. Otherwise you and your family will be hungry. Your angle to the animal has to stay the same you you cannot flip about with your handsm head and torso. You have to be low to become less of a sign for the animal and you have to be quiet. You breath, your digestion, the joints have to be noisless, your feet on the ground have to make no noise. If there is a twig your foot senses you have to abandon that space and choose another without direct sight. Remember that when you look forward you see very little. You have to relax your eyes and ears. Do not focus on any particular object or even movement. Let your scope broaden up and down and to the sides. If you focus your attention on let’s say a cat you are sneaking toward (in practice, only rats eat cats for food) than your brain wave pattern changes and it evokes a chain reaction that the cat will sense and react to as much as a noise will startle it becasue it is a change. A regular stare at an animal will not evoke this because you are already tensed so there is no peak to mind. That too can be used. Ten steps are good for beginners. Remember those are ten minutes.
