Here’s a good way to learn balance and get to know your ups and downs. Stand on one leg and close your eyes. Surprisingly most people lose their balance before one minute has passes and start to shake and over compansate for the slight loses of balance leading to greater ones. As you are on one leg, try to leave the imbalances in that leg. Have it sway freely (if at all) so the rest of the body doesn’t increase the wave. It’s a good meathod to learn to move freely and you can elaborate by changing the positions of the other limbs and see how easy it can be if your mind is busy on doing some work such as squating and isn’t telling itself: Hay I’m on one leg and I cannot see…
Another good way to learn balance and quiet within is to do pushing and pulling while on one leg. Stand in front of each other and do increasing ladders of hits and kicks and so on. Now try to to do a blind superman and see how that feels and if you can do a revolving blind superman. Interpet this as you wish. My way of doing things is right 100% only for me. Find the way that suits you and live freely.
