A very simple drill to learn awareness to knives: With at least three people have two leave your sight and come back with one of them with a knife on him (in some cases one of them has to take the knife off for that) and you have to guess according to how you feel (emotions at your service) and logic who has the knife and repeat several times. After that you have them both walk toward you to and you choose where to walk yourself to keep safe and keep moving all the time. If you stop moving (and breathing ) your life is in greater risk. After that have a drill of you passing a line of people who choose to either grab you for a hug, a hello or a stab to the neck (choose what suits you and remember the place you are working in, in a crowded place lower stabs are more likely and threats even more) and you have to learn to read the body language and the face to choose to react well. This is stressful so don’t place too much on the outcome. It will be there whatever you do so put your mind on this breath.
