Have a partner come at you and from time to time try to hug you. your goal is to avoid getting hugged without hitting or using force by letting the partner get where he or she wants (guide the arms and body where they want to go and add your direction) work slowly at first and from all angles and work your way to recognize the goal and the change of pace in the walking if any.
Follow this by a continuous attempt to grab you and again avoid getting immobilized. Have another partner with a stick to help you maintain your eyes free by swinging at you from time to time.

Work honestly and you will see what you can do at any minute and remember to escape using the entire body. If the shoulders are held you can more the hips if the head is held you can move the shoulders and arms and so on.
