From time to time work using uncomfortable grips with a knife or any other tool. For example see what you can do holding the blade instead of the handle of a knife. Hold it in the reverse grip to what you feel is comfortable and work relaxed from there. Another example can be to work with other tools with the same idea. You may not get a chance to do everything well on the first attempt and there is no second. hold a hammer by the heavy part and check your options. Stand on one foot and and try to sneak toward a bird or a cat in the low grass and so on. Enjoy it.
