I was a young sun burned soldier in the previous millennia. A conscript of the IDF infantry.

We were taught in basic training to call terrorists dirties and other such names and to pursue the enemy with blinds on our eyes. Our training staff was only slightly older and their immaturity was evident in their emotions, their words and in many moments of ego overriding what training should have been. The young mind tries to justify the stupid and silly nature of basic training. Some were so trapped by their egos they boasted how harshly they were treated and how that made them better harder men. It did not make them better. I knew that the first time I pulled the safety from safe to single in Southern Lebanon.

The last few days show once again how government pursues misdirection and will go to great lengths to control not just the narrative force fed to the citizen body but also control the emotion and sentiment with blood sacrifice and the tears of the innocent.

Governments are notorious for killing people. Look it up and see that most of the killings are authorized and sanctioned by law somewhere by a clerk or elected official with no blood on their hands or a lot depending on outlook.

What is the connection to movement and martial art ? Everything. The crux of the issue is emotion. We make our decisions and perceive the world inside and out through the filter of those emotions.

Governments, psychopaths, career criminals and other things that are one and the same use emotions to pray upon us with manipulation, control and behaving in a way to have us comply to things we would never comply with without the use of such tactics.

A leopard hunting for game wants to eat and even the hyena hunts to feed its young. Humans hunt for glory and personal gain and in that we are both above and below the animal world.

The time to educate ourselves on the human predator was yesterday. Read and practice awareness and action when others aim to control your state of mind and state of heart. Remove such scum from your person and from office and keep such off it as much as possible.

On a personal note. I saw a young boy taken into captivity. He was first crying for his mother and then goaded by his captors to cry again as they whipped him and shouted slurs at him. I do not know if he is alive or dead and I hope he will be united with his family if they are alive still. The blame for this tragedy and countless others all over the globe lies on those who perpetuated it but also on all our shoulders for idly staying silent or even voting the scum of the earth into office.

Martial art – choose your generals wisely and keep from trusting those who would toss you to the meat grinder for twenty pieces of silver or less.

Hate is the tool of the tyrant thus we must love. Love our children enough to act on their interests, love our neighbors enough to help them in trying times, love the truth enough to say it and finally to love freedom enough to risk loosing our own to keep it from fleeting.
