Divide your neck to front, back, left and right and tense each one in turn on the inhale and on the exhale and on the pause. Now look to the right and repeat and look to the left and repeat and look: down, up, twist left and right (ear to shoulder) and note how this affects the work when the muscle is at it’s limit. Now have a partner move your head using his fists and you will work on first moving with your body and keeping your head in place to survive. After this add the relaxation and guiding rather than moving of the shoulders and neck to this body movement and remember to let the breath lead you. add this to free hitting and note how this affects your feeling and how the hit is taken rather than in. Keep moving.
